What is the application process?
All applicants will have a personal interview with a staffing coordinator. All applicants are required to fill out an application, including work history as well as take a written exam. Two forms of identification and presentation of licensure or certification as well as two employment references must be presented upon application. Prior to receiving an assignment, all applicants are required to submit a report of a medical examination performed within the past year. Our offices are open from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. We are also available for evening and Saturday appointments.
Is work available?
ASSURANCE has work available on an on-going basis. The more flexibility an applicant has, the greater the potential for an immediate assignment. Also, having personal transportation available is desirable.
How does ASSURANCE compensate employees?
We offer premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, vacation pay, bonus pay, additional assignment bonus plan, holiday pay and overtime. Pay rates are determined based upon an applicant's level of experience as well as the acuity of the assignment. Employees are paid on a weekly basis and may pick up their check or it will be mailed on Friday.
Do you offer an orientation to new employees?
We offer a paid orientation on most cases.
Do you offer support and supervision to field personnel?
On-call staffing coordinators and RN Supervisors are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to assist with staffing and clinical problems and concerns.
Are policies and procedures available?
General agency policies and procedures are distributed upon application.
